Are you ready for a fresh start?
It’s the beginning of 2016! There’s an energy that enters our lives in the beginning of a new year. It’s the excitement of a fresh start. We create new goals for ourselves or maybe decide to keep working on the ones we had before, but just needed a bit more time to complete. This is a wonderful time to look around you to see what needs to be freshened up, replaced or let go of (both internally & externally).
Our focus at Revisions Interior Design is enhancing your physical spaces, but let me reassure you that when you change your surroundings it also can have a positive effect on you internally. If you feel that your home or office isn’t giving you warm enjoyable feelings, then it they may need some work. Our spaces are meant to support us in our goals and lifestyles, so if yours isn’t doing that then it’s time for a change.
Maybe you already know where your trouble areas are. Does your kitchen that feel like you’ve stepped back into the 80’s every time you walk in there? Maybe you have collected lots of memories over the years and feel suffocated with all the “stuff” that has entered your home, but then never seemed to want to leave. You might find you have several time periods trying to coexist in your home and they don’t seem to want to get along.
Whatever the issue, there are always solutions. It might be a matter of simply getting rid of some of that collected “stuff” or maybe you need a much bigger intervention. Like all change, you may be apprehensive to begin but the key is to start planning. It never hurts to have advice for those moments when you get overwhelmed and you just need someone to help you make decisions.
